Some people don’t like to fly on commercial airlines. There are several reasons for this. Lately, it seems to be the most important reason for people not wanting to fly commercial is all the added security that’s been implemented since all of the security scares at airports. These checkpoints and thorough searches that are required of every passenger are so time consuming that it often takes hours before you can even get on the plane. The other reason why people don’t like to fly commercial airline flights is because of all the strangers they’re packed in with. The seats on a plane are so close together to accommodate more passengers that you are often sandwiched between two undesirable people for a long, often hours long, flight.

With private planes, these worries are no more. First of all, you get to choose where you take off from and you don’t have to fly with anyone you don’t want to. Private planes are expensive but you have to consider that you’re flying in style. They are just like limousines for the sky. You get all the amenities offered in a limousine, plus the staff is there to cater to you. Imagine your own stewardess or steward catering to your every need. You’re thirsty? They’ll get you a drink. Hungry? They’ll get you food. It’s like having your own private butler in the air.

The best part about private planes is that you choose who you fly with. No longer do you have to sit crammed between two people you don’t know who either smell weird or insist on talking about something you have no interest in talking about. You choose the passenger list, what could be better than that?

Private planes can be bought by corporations for use by their executives or they can be rented out for special functions. There is nothing like taking a private jet on a vacation with a group of your friends. Think of all the fun that can be had when you’re flying in your own private jet. These jets are also great for bachelor parties.

It should be noted, however, that these flights are expensive and are not for the person who is on a strict budget. Private planes are for wealthy executives and others who can afford such an excursion. However, if you can afford it and you have someplace to go and you would like to travel in style with only the people you wish to travel with, then a private plane should be considered to take that ultimate travel vacation.
